A look  back at the great bands, musicians and times of Coronado Island

Sound Promotions Audio                                                                  Coronado, Ca.                            Tours with American Airlines, NCR, Foodmaker, Bridgestone Tires, St. Judes Hospital.........  Sound Promotions was a entertainment production company. We did Sound Reinforcement for Bands and Multimedia productions all over the United States, Canada, Mexico and Japan. Providing Staging, Lighting and Crew services for Hundreds of Events and clients. We produced the outside Events for the Muscular Dystrophy association for 8 years and events like the La Jolla research foundation fundraisers. Large multi band productions were our specialty. We worked with Frank Sinatra, Don Rickles, Robin Williams, Melissa Manchester, Tina Turner, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Steven Bishop, Marilyn McCoo, Gary Puckett, Freddy Fender, The Diamonds, Frankie Avalon and Suzanne Summers to name a few. Most of the crew were graduates of Coronado High School.  Sound Promotions also Designed and installed Lighting and Sound Systems for 19 Discos in the U.S. and Mexico.  Including, The Harbor House restaurant in Seaport Village, Studio Fellinis and The Racket Club in Guadalajara and Fantasy Disco in Acapulco.                     Below: The Brooks Brothers and their almost famous band.                                                           1         Worlds Best Roadie, Kirk Hart.                   Always liked the our Logo.                                                                                                                   Famous Multiimage Road Crew. We toured all over the world together         Two of my favorite Roadies, Caroline Wilson,'71 and April Atkinson,'73 It's hard to believe that small town like Coronado can turn so many talented people. My road crew was a great example.
